Nissan Improves 2013 Frontier Fuel Economy, Details MSRP

Nissan announced changes and pricing for its 2013-MY Nissan Frontier pickup truck. The automaker said it improved fuel economy for the Frontier by 2 mpg by reducing engine friction and enhancing aerodynamics.

Nissan announced changes and pricing for its 2013-MY Nissan Frontier pickup truck. The automaker said it improved fuel economy for the Frontier by 2 mpg by reducing engine friction and enhancing aerodynamics.

Nissan said its Frontier S King Cab 4x2 with inline four-cylinder engine and manual transmission has a reduced starting MSRP of $17,990, a reduction of $1,270 over the 2012 model. Nissan also said it’s bringing back the Desert Runner model, which priced at an MSRP of $23,760 for the King Cab and $25,010 for the Crew Cab model.

The automaker is also adding a RearView Monitor, a Rear Sonar System, and an updgraded audio system. Other feature alternations include changing the previous SV Premium Utility Package to the SV Value Truck Package, which has a RearView Monitor and Dual Zone Air Conditioning. The automaker is also offering three new exterior colors across the 2013 Frontier lineup.
