FARMINGTON HILLS, MI – The National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) has launched a newly redesigned Web site, www.ntea.com. The redesigned NTEA.com organizes industry information, new content, and better functionality, with a fresh, visually-appealing design. The site is updated daily and offers a comprehensive library of technical articles and resources, market research and data, current legislative, and regulatory updates.
“In addition to an intuitive layout designed to deliver a
more use-friendly experience, the redesign is geared to provide a whole new
level of beneficial, business-building information to the industry,” said Jim
Carney, NTEA executive director. “A wealth of information from the NTEA’s
library of publications is already available online, and the association is
pleased to offer additional tools to aide members and other industry
professionals in the success of their business.”
Exciting new features on NTEA.com include:
Site-wide Search: Because the content on the site covers a variety of complex subject matter, such as technical and regulatory issues, a site-wide search was implemented to allow visitors quicker access to information. Search functionality includes all types of documents, from HTML pages to pdfs.
Enhanced Member Log-in: Visitors will now be able to create and change their own user ID and password. If you forgot your password, you can e-mail yourself a reminder. Additionally, members can easily update their contact information online.
Shop NTEA: NTEA.com currently features an online “Storefront” that allows both members and nonmembers to purchase downloadable publications and materials, update account information anytime online, and have the ability to e-mail a receipt for previous orders.
Networking Directory: Members have access to a “Networking Directory” within the site’s “Industry Directory” that shows a list of all company contacts, job titles, addresses, and phone and fax numbers. Member log-in to the site is required to access the “Networking Directory.”
Becoming an NTEA member offers many benefits and exclusive access to the “Member Resources” area of the site. By using their log-in credentials, NTEA members can obtain technical assistance and tools; download industry surveys; and find market data and research conducted to benefit NTEA members. Members can also:
