MTE Launches GM Hood Assist
MONROE, WI – Monroe Truck Equipment, Inc. (MTE), headquartered in Monroe, Wis., is proud to announce the launch of a new product designed to make it easier to open the hood on larger GM model trucks — the MTE Hood Assist.
MONROE, WI – Monroe Truck Equipment, Inc. (MTE), headquartered in Monroe, Wis., is proud to announce the launch of a new product designed to make it easier to open the hood on larger GM model trucks — the MTE Hood Assist. This product reduces the initial opening force of a hood from 66 pounds to 22 pounds and turns a difficult two-handed operation into a one-handed operation.
The MTE Hood Assist is compatible with both stationary and tilting grilles and boasts a no-drill installation. Installation kits are available that can be customer-installed, or the MTE Hood Assist can be installed where purchased. This product can be used on the following GM models:
