CENTER LINE, MI – Mopar has launched a remanufactured Heavy-Duty Transmission line. Mopar said that the new Mopar Reman 48RE Heavy-Duty Transmission is ideal for Dodge Ram owners who rely on their trucks for hard work, such as cargo hauling, and trailer towing, and even for large construction jobs.

The Heavy-Duty Transmission is built with heavy-duty components and exclusive features, including a turbine stiffener plate to eliminate hub cracking, a Kevlar reverse band to allow for higher torque capacity, and a billet front cover to eliminate converter ballooning.

Mopar’s Heavy-Duty 48RE Transmission is available for 2003–2006 Diesel Dodge Ram models, and is covered by Mopar’s comprehensive new three-year/80,000-mile limited warranty.
