Miami Auto Show Canceled Due to Irma
The Miami International Auto Show has been canceled for the first time in its nearly 50 years due to Hurricane Irma, show organizers announced on Facebook.

The Miami International Auto Show has been canceled for the first time in its nearly 50 years due to Hurricane Irma, show organizers announced on Facebook.
The 47th annual installement of the show was scheduled to run from Sept. 9 to 17 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The openining was initially postponed as the storm moved closer to Florida, but was eventually canceled by Miami Beach city officials.
Organizers said the show wouldn't be rescheduled on Sept. 14 in a post on the show's Facebook page.
Manufacturers rarely introduce new models at the show, but last year Nissan debuted its 2017 Rogue Hybrid.
The South Florida Automobile Dealers Association has been hosting the show since 1971. It was previously known as the South Florida Auto Show.
