Steve Saltzgiver has been named senior associate at Mercury Associates, Inc., a fleet consulting company. Saltzgiver assumed this position in October.
Previously, Saltzgiver was vice president of fleet management at refuse hauler Republic Services, which he joined in October 2013. Brad Berryman, director of fleet operations for Republic Services, has assumed Saltzgiver’s fleet responsibilities.

Before joining Republic Services, Saltzgiver worked as vice president of fleet operations of North America for The Coca-Cola Company. He worked for Coca-Cola from July 2010 to October 2013 and managed a diverse fleet of more than 50,000 units.
Prior to this, Saltzgiver was director of fleet for the state of Georgia from 2008 to 2010, where he managed the state’s fleet of more than 20,000 units.
