CERRITOS, CA - MBB Interlift, a liftgate manufacturer, announced the company has added a "new and improved" liftgate to their product offering.

The ILD+ is an enhanced version of the ILD model marketed in North America since 2003. The ILD+ maintains the simple, straight-forward design but has incorporated many features and components used on the MBB Palfinger models produced in Germany.

In designing the ILD+, MBB Interlift's engineers started from the ground up to build its next generation of direct lifts featuring "smart" technology to minimize battery power consumption. The lift is capable of diagnostic troubleshooting by simply plugging in a laptop. The Solid State Controls and Built-in Power Consumption Reduction System allows for a battery power savings of up to 25 percent compared to similar operating systems. The K+ Technology features include  built-in cycle counting, PC-connectivity trouble shooting and options to include warning lights, wireless remote and lock out programs.

The combination of European technology, U.S. manufacturing, distributor support, and after-sales service allows MBB Interlift to be more responsive to their customer needs.

"We understand our customers' true business needs and provide them with high quality and cost-effective solutions," said Hakan Peterson, president of MBB Interlift. Through a network of knowledgeable and motivated distributors, MBB Interlift delivers the best lifting, loading and handling solution to customers throughout North America. "Customers can count on our unique service" said Peterson.

With the addition of Omaha Standard to the Palfinger North America Group and its advanced manufacturing capabilities, the ILD+ is the first MBB Interlift model to be completely produced at the Council Bluffs, Iowa facility.

"Enhancing our manufacturing capabilities in North America enables us to provide our customers with cutting edge products, fast lead times, top notch paint and corrosion finish at competitive prices" said Peterson.   The  environmentally friendly E-coat primer and top coat provides an incredible finish and durable corrosion protection giving the ILD+ long-life surface protection.
