CERRITOS, CA – MBB INTERLIFT recently launched the ILUK Under Slider liftgate that features an under mount platform for both truck and trailer applications. The level ride 74 x 96 and 82 x 96 platforms are the largest platforms available on the market that can store underneath the truck. The ILUK is available in capacity loads of 3,300, 4,400, 5,500, and 6,600 lbs., and a fully aluminum version is available in capacities between 3,300-5,500 lbs.
The under mount design reduces the chance of dock damage to the liftgate and also keeps the liftgate conveniently out of the way when not in use. The ILUK is lighter than a rail-style liftgate yet it features the same capacities. The lightweight design allows for improved weight distribution, an increased payload, and reduced fuel consumption.
The ILUK includes a pre-mounted, thermo-protected, slide-in power pack that is fully protected in the mount tube and is easy to inspect. The bed height range for the ILUK is 36”-60,” which allows it to work with a wide range of applications. The design of the ILUK allows it to work together with walk ramps without requiring the liftgate to be lowered, and also with roll-up and swing doors. The 4,400-6,600 lbs. capacity models come standard with foot controls and cart stops; these features are optional on the 3,300 lbs. capacity model. The ILUK is also available with a wireless remote control and other options.
