Dobbs Truck Group, the Volvo Group, and the Howes Hall of Fame recognized leaders in the work truck space.

Dobbs announced the promotion of Will Carlisle to Dobbs Truck Group executive vice president - South.

Carlisle has 23 years of industry experience, 21 of those years with Dobbs.

In his new role, Carlisle is responsible for the profitable growth of the South Region’s new and used truck sales, parts, and service businesses as well as driving corporate initiatives. Additionally, Carlisle will have direct oversight of the South Region general managers, will lead the South Region truck sales, and will leverage the fixed operations directors to drive profitable Parts and Service growth.

The Volvo Group recently announced that effective January 1, 2023, Greg Higgins has been named senior vice president of legal & compliance, general counsel, and secretary for Volvo Trucks North America and Mack Trucks.

Higgins joined the company in 2012 and has served since 2015 as senior counsel.

Before joining the Volvo Group, Higgins spent 12 years as a member and partner at Nexsen Pruet PLLC in Greensboro, North Carolina.

 Meanwhile, Howes Products introduced its latest Howes Hall of Fame inductee, Angelique Temple.

Temple is a seasoned driver of 23 years. 

“Angelique is more than just a hard-working driver or flourishing entrepreneur. She is an absolutely amazing person,” said Erika Howes, VP of business development. “The minute we heard about Angelique, we were interested in her story.
