KOKALIS
Paul Kokalis has been named president of Fontaine Modification, a provider of truck modification services for OEMs, dealers, and fleets. With more than 25 years at Fontaine Modification, he most recently served as vice president of operations for the company, which is part of the Marmon Highway Technologies (MHT) Commercial Truck group.
Kokalis joined Fontaine Modification in 1988 in a sales and marketing role. He went on to hold several sales positions, including serving as the sales manager of Fontaine’s new Charlotte, N.C. operation dedicated to Freightliner in 1988. In 1993, he opened a modification center in Dublin, Va., serving Volvo Trucks and operated it as general manager. He was promoted to vice president of operations for the entire company in 2010.
“Paul is a natural choice to serve as president of Fontaine Modification,” explains Kent Finkbiner, group president of MHT Commercial Truck. “He brings a detailed level of knowledge about Fontaine Modification’s business, as well as many years of experience providing exceptional value to our OEM, dealer and fleet customers. We are fortunate to have a person of Paul’s caliber to lead Fontaine Modification into the future.”
Kokalis describes his vision for the company this way, “It is time to transition Fontaine Modification from a steady-state business into one that provides our partners with a continuous stream of innovative solutions to their transportation needs. We’ll focus on advancing Fontaine Modification’s internal manufacturing processes with continued emphasis on safety, quality and efficiency. Above all, we will work to further deepen the company’s relationships with our customers.”
Kokalis will be based at the company’s headquarters in Charlotte, N.C.
