If there is one thing Joe Signs’ Power Equipment knows about, its tractors. Since 1947 the Owego, NY based company has been in the tractor business and although the company has grown and progressed over the last 65+ years, tractors remain at the forefront.  A company committed to customer service, Joe Signs’ Power Equipment is the go-to dealership for locals interested in the purchase and service of tractors, trailers, power equipment and boats.

Joe Signs’ Power Equipment is a family-owned business and has been run by the Signs family for four generations beginning with Joe Signs, who built the company from the ground up after seeing a greater need for tractors in the Owego area.  Today, the company is owned and operated by Joe Signs, Sr. and Joe Signs, Jr., the grandson and great-grandson of the original Joe Signs and the third and fourth generations of the Signs’ family.

Being a tractor dealer for more than half a century, the Signs family knows quality equipment.  Through the years, Joe Signs’ Power Equipment has carried a variety of equipment brands.  While some equipment becomes a staple at the dealership, others come and go depending on feedback from local customers.  In 2004, the Signs’ family wanted to expand their business by adding another line of tractors.  “We began to notice a greater need for compact tractors in the area, especially from customers needing extra help with daily chores on their small horse farms,” states Joe Signs, Jr.  After researching a wide range of tractor brands and speaking with several dealers, Joe Signs’ Power Equipment chose to take on the full line of KIOTI tractors and UTVs.

Since becoming a KIOTI dealer, customers have come to love the tractors for their large load-carrying capacities and have found them to be durable, heavy-weight machines.  Of the many appealing features KIOTI tractors have to offer, the biggest selling point has been the industry-leading four year warranty which gives customers piece of mind with their purchase.  According to Joe Signs, Jr., hobby farmers and homeowners have become frequent customers, finding the compact size and easy maneuverability of KIOTI tractors to be perfect for yard work and farm tasks. The CK30 has stood out as the most popular model at the dealership and is often sold with a backhoe or loader attachment making it a productive machine across numerous applications.

In the eight years Joe Signs’ Power Equipment has been a KIOTI dealer, business has grown tremendously.  Sales continue to increase annually and there is certainly no shortage of interest in KIOTI products.  When asked what has made the business so successful, Joes Signs, Sr. and Joe Signs, Jr. unequivocally attribute their success to a steadfast commitment to customer service.  “We work extremely hard to ensure we are exceeding the expectations of our customers in each and every aspect of our business,” states Joe Signs, Sr.  “We want every person who comes through our door to have a positive experience here.”  The Signs feels strongly that KIOTI’s market share in the Owego area will continue to increase as more customers learn about KIOTI and experience the benefits and features of the equipment.

Joe Signs’ Power Equipment has been a KIOTI dealer since 2004 and offers the full line of KIOTI tractors, UTV’s and implements for homeowners, farmers, hobby farmers, landscapers and a variety of other end users.
