Kenworth was honored for its Driving To Zero Emissions program that features the Class 8 Kenworth T680E, Class 7 K370E, and Class 6 K270E battery electric vehicles, along with PACCAR Parts charging stations. A Kenworth T680E on display was assembled at the nearby Kenworth manufacturing plant in Renton, Washington.

Kenworth has been an important part of the Puget Sound community since 1923 and celebrates its centennial next year. “Kenworth’s continued development of zero emissions technology will ensure the next 100 years of Kenworth Truck Company and Washington’s economy, is a bright and sustainable one,” Erik Johnson, Kenworth general sales manager – West, said.

“David Giuliani committed his life to advancing progress on climate change, and Kenworth is pleased to contribute to this effort by developing technology solutions, and making investments in our plants, for a more sustainable world,” Genevieve Bekkerus, Kenworth director of marketing, said.

The Kenworth T680E is designed for pickup and delivery, regional haul and drayage applications, and is available in a day cab configuration as either a tractor or straight truck. The T680E has an 82,000 lb. gross vehicle weight rating and an estimated 150-mile operating range, depending on the application.
