Kenworth Offers Online Body Builders Manual for Class 5-7 T-Series Models
KIRKLAND, WA – The 124-page Kenworth Medium-Duty Body Builders Manual is available as a .pdf file in the Products section of Kenworth's homepage.
KIRKLAND, WA – Kenworth Truck Company offers a comprehensive online body builders manual for its Kenworth T170 Class 5, T270 Class 6, and T370 Class 7 models. The Kenworth medium-duty models are ideally spec'd for pickup and delivery, beverage, tow and recovery, fire and rescue, landscaping, construction, propane, fuel hauling, and utility applications.
The 124-page Kenworth Medium-Duty Body Builders Manual is available as a .pdf file in the Products section of Kenworth's homepage (www.kenworth.com) under the T170, T270, and T370 medium-duty models.
The manual contains sections on dimensions, safety and compliance, body mounting, frame modifications, and electrical for Kenworth 2008 and later medium-duty conventional models with 2007 PACCAR PX-6 and PX-8 EPA compliant engines. The PACCAR PX-6 engine offers the highest hp-to-weight ratio in the industry, and the PACCAR PX-8 engine has 1,000 lb.-ft. of torque for heavier loads and severe grades.
The Kenworth manual is useful when specifying a vehicle, especially when the body builder is involved in the vehicle definition and ordering process. Early in the process, professional body builders can often contribute valuable information that helps to reduce the ultimate cost of the body installation.
