This award recognizes individuals in the transportation industry whose achievements, performance, and vision have helped shape their company or the industry at large. According to TMSA, a panel of industry veterans and non-biased judges selected companies and individuals for their excellence in sales or marketing accomplishments in the past 12 to 18 months.
Jones has been instrumental in acquiring new high-profile clients and has led marketing initiatives such as industry reports, infographics, blogs, video content, and much more.
As an advocate for the advancement of women within the transportation industry, Jones has won awards, authored nearly two dozen articles, and has made podcast appearances, most recently discussing “the value of mentorship for women” in equipment finance on the Monitor Podcast Series. This past April, she was selected as a 2022 Influential Business Woman of the Year recipient by the South Florida Business Journal.
“Katerina’s client-centric and data-driven marketing approach has immensely increased the collaboration, transparency, and clarity of Fleet Advantage,” said John Flynn, CEO of Fleet Advantage. “As a part of our senior management team, Katerina has been significant in providing strategic guidance to the C-Suite on critical business matters as well as onboarding new clients through her structured marketing approach, which she executes and excels at daily.”
Jones involves herself in several charitable organizations, industry-related council positions, and committees. She has been actively involved in the National Private Truck Council (NPTC) for five years, as a member of the Annual Conference Planning Committee. She was also part of the Equipment Leasing Finance Association (ELFA) as a member of the Communications Committee that supports industry outreach and awareness of equipment financing.
