JX Truck Center-Gaylord (Michigan) announced it is scheduled to open its new facility on Jan. 9, expanding its customer offerings to include service, parts, truck rental and leasing, and pre-owned truck sales, according to JX Enterprises' news release.
The newly renovated, 11,625-square-foot dealership sits on five acres. The new address is 1180 Milbocker Road, Gaylord, Michigan, 49735, approximately three miles south of its current parts-only location and conveniently located just off Interstate 75.
“JX Truck Center-Gaylord will provide customers with expanded services and a modern facility with amenities and styling that enhance the total JX Customer Xperience,” said Micah Herin, JX operations manager. “It’s in a great new location – the gateway to the Upper Peninsula – and will satisfy a greater range of customer needs with a dealership that exemplifies the quality, features and professional, well-trained staff customers expect from our dealer network.”
Herin added the dealership will have large parts and merchandise showrooms, as well as nine service bays with translucent-style overhead doors to maximize natural lighting. JX Truck Center-Gaylord will be fully staffed with personnel from its previous location, including experienced service technicians from other JX Truck Center locations.
JX Enterprises: Center of Attention
In October, JX Enterprises announced the opening of JX Truck Center-Clare, its newest dealership.
JX Truck Center-Clare is a 29,000-square-foot facility located on a six-acre lot to provide access for trucks and trailers. The facility replaced JX Truck Center-Mt. Pleasant, which is approximately 15 miles south of the new location.
The company also announced the acquisition of Total Appearance (TA), a company specializing in truck collision repair and customization, and Amcan Truck Parts, an online aftermarket parts retailer.
“The addition of TA to our strong network of JX Truck Centers and other transportation service business divisions gives us yet another opportunity to serve customers in a unique way,” said Eric Jorgensen, president/CEO of JX Enterprises. “It provides us with new growth opportunities and is essentially a one-stop destination for owner-operators and fleets to personalize their vehicles and create a standout brand through industry-leading customization.”
TA is set to complement the company’s existing JX Graphics division located at JX Truck Center in Madison, Wisconsin, giving customers another strategically located source for truck body repair, painting, and graphics, according to a company statement.
