J. J. Keller & Associates and the International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) have launched a collaborative study evaluating the day-to-day challenges EHS and safety professionals experience in personal protective equipment (PPE) program development, PPE purchasing, PPE training, and ensuring proper use of PPE to keep employees safe.
This is the third year of the PPE Pain Points benchmarking study by the J. J. Keller Center for Market Insights and the first year ISEA has joined the research effort.
“Our goal, in the J. J. Keller Center for Market Insights, is to listen closely to the experiences professionals in transportation, manufacturing, construction and a multitude of other industries have every day that challenge their ability to keep their teams safe,” said Susan Baranczyk, head of corporate communications with J. J. Keller & Associates.
She said the results are shared as widely as possible to inform and create conversation that will lead to overcoming the challenges.
ISEA Collaborates with the Study in 2024
“The unique perspective of ISEA’s staff in standards development, and their extensive membership base, can help the J. J. Keller Center for Market Insights reach more and critical audiences. So, we’re excited to collaborate with ISEA on the study,” Baranczyk said.
Cam Mackey, president & CEO of ISEA, said as the voice of the safety equipment industry, ISEA is committed to understanding and addressing the real-world challenges that EHS and safety professionals face every day
“By partnering with J. J. Keller on this important survey, we aim to gather valuable insights that will not only inform our standards development but also improve the overall PPE purchasing process and the effective use of vital safety gear,” Mackey said.
How to Take the PPE Pain Points Survey
To take the PPE Pain Points Survey, visit the study site here. The survey is open until August 30, 2024. J.J. Keller said those completing the survey will be entered in a drawing for a $100 eGift card of their choice.
