Netradyne has teamed up with the Independent Carrier Safety Association (ICSA) as its preferred fleet safety solutions vendor.
Established in September 2019, ICSA is a non-profit organization with the aim of enhancing highway safety by involving single-truck operators and small fleets in its safety mission. ICSA offers its members no-cost safety consulting to ensure these carriers are taking all necessary measures to minimize risks and crashes.
“Forward-facing cameras are a crucial element of any truck safety program and a prerequisite for member carriers to qualify for reduced insurance rates under ICSA’s risk purchase group program,” stated Karen Rasmussen, Executive Director at ICSA. “Our Board of Directors has decided that carriers already utilizing any of four approved major camera brands are not obligated to purchase cameras from ICSA. Those members in need of purchasing cameras can be eligible for a substantial discount from Netradyne.”
Many industry safety experts believe that videos from on-road incidents serve as valuable coaching tools that can assist even experienced drivers in improving their skills behind the wheel.
With its advanced artificial intelligence and high-resolution video, Netradyne’s fleet safety solutions provide an outstanding option for ICSA members to coach drivers and retain video evidence in the event of a lawsuit.
“We are delighted to collaborate with ICSA to provide advanced safety tools to small fleets and owner-operators,” remarked Adam Kahn, president of Netradyne. “The Driver.i device records and analyzes the entire drive. Combined with premium AI and edge computing, it can understand the cause of events, identify good driving behaviors, and offer specific recommendations for improvement.”
