HCSS, a provider of innovative software that helps heavy civil businesses streamline their operations, announced integration with Clue. Clue integrates with HCSS HeavyJob, Telematics, and Equipment360, providing an integrated platform for all systems where construction fleets can get a single pane of glass view of their entire operation.

This platform connects all company assets into a single system, including:

  • Crew.

"We're always looking for companies to work with that elevate our solutions, and, in this instance, we were able to partner with a good company that brings something to customers that they've never had before,” said Rateb Almasri, product manager, HCSS. “With the Clue and HCSS integration, disparate systems now have a single platform where every system talks to the other. Clue then runs the machine data through its proprietary AI engine to generate real-time insights that improve productivity, minimize downtime, and reduce operational costs.”

How Can Clue Help Construction Fleets?

Clue integrates with:

  • HCSS Telematics: Construction Equipment Tracking Software. Typically, construction companies have multiple telematics, GPS, or other equipment software. With Clue, all the machine data are combined into one place so that users only must log into one system, instead of multiple systems, to collect and monitor the equipment data. Says one user, “Clue collects and standardizes the telematic data from the OEM systems to allow me to compare everything side by side, saving hours of manual data handling every week.”

  • HCSS Equipment360: Equipment Maintenance Software. Clue pulls out all engine-related data, fault codes, meter readings, and more and then sends this information to E360. Preventive maintenance (PM) is now automated with Clue as users capture when the PM was performed, by whom, and what was done. Clue provides customizable options, such as daily inspection checklists and alerts on underutilized assets, fuel usage, scheduled maintenance, critical faults, safety, etc.

  • HCSS HeavyJob: Project Management Software. Clue integrates information from timecards and charge rates, helping project managers plan for future spending. Clue can reconcile the manually entered hours on HeavyJob with automatically pulled actual machine data. It helps contractors to pay the correct amount for work performed and avoid unnecessary spendings on rentals and equipment purchases. Users can track jobsite productivity in real-time and monitor utilization, production KPIs, and total cost of ownership.

"Clue helps construction companies manage all assets to improve fleet utilization, minimize downtime, and protect project margins," said Oded Ran, co-founder & CEO of Clue. "We bring additional functionality to several HCSS products, pulling out asset information so that users get updates on fleet productivity, utilization, maintenance, work orders, inspections, and performance analysis, no matter the type and brand of equipment.”
