Cobb County, Georgia, will demonstrate a P7-C demo chassis cab, a full by-wire electric truck manufactured by REE Automotive. This demonstration of the truck’s features and capabilities is being held through Pritchard EV, the only REE dealer with a national footprint.
The truck is being demonstrated by Cobb County during an Electrification Showcase for the local chapter of NAFA Fleet Management Association.

“Cobb County has added more than 65 electric vehicles, 150 hybrid police vehicles, 24 bi-fuel vehicles, the first electric prisoner transport van, so the REE P7-C chassis cab will be another innovative move for Cobb County,” said Al Curtis, Cobb County fleet manager and member of the Fleet Managers Hall of Fame.
Testing P7-C For Municipal Fleets
The world’s first demonstration chassis cab came off the production line in December and arrived in the US in February. It was upfit with a KUV service body through Knapheide, one of Pritchard EV’s upfit partners, and is now being demonstrated to leading national fleets. Cobb County, Georgia, will test the chassis cab’s capabilities addressing the unique needs of the municipal fleet space.
Ryan Pritchard, chief revenue officer and fifth-generation member of the founding Pritchard family, said Cobb County is a perfect destination for this demonstration chassis cab by REE.
“Their willingness to break down barriers and demonstrate the benefits of fleet electrification is world-class. Al Curtis and his team are the types of visionaries who will move us into an emissions-free future, and we couldn’t be more excited to partner with them,” said Prichard.
“It is one thing to read and hear about the technology, but the experience of getting behind the wheel of the world’s first certified full by-wire vehicle is really where fleets will see that this vehicle is a game changer,” said Tali Miller, chief business officer of REE Automotive.

FMVSS Certification for Full By-Wire Truck
REE completed Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) certification of the full by-wire P7-C in January and shipped the first-ever chassis to Pritchard EV in an event that has been highly anticipated since Pritchard and REE announced their partnership in 2023.
REE vehicles through Pritchard EV offer fleets a zero-carbon upgrade to traditional Class 4 commercial and fleet vehicles, and the benefits of an ultra-modular electric vehicle platform. REE’s proprietary REEcorner technology, which the P7-C is built on, is designed for serviceability, safety, and to drive down total cost of ownership.
