Ford Pro Telematics has natively integrated Vehicle Security directly into its standard subscription. Previously, customers had to manually activate standalone add-ons and grant extra administrative roles just to access them, creating friction and slowing down the onboarding process. With Vehicle Security built in, fleet managers with an active, eligible subscription automatically get these tools at no extra cost and can configure them right from the main dashboard from day one.

The newly included features are:

• Unexpected Location Change: Get an alert if a vehicle moves (e.g., is towed) while the ignition is off
• Door Opened: Know instantly if a vehicle door opens during custom restricted hours
• Trigger Vehicle Alarm: Manually sound a vehicle's alarm remotely if unauthorized use is suspected
• Fleet Start Inhibit: Remotely disable the ignition to prevent a vehicle from starting on demand or on a schedule
