Ford is expanding its BlueOval Charge Network in North America, adding 25% more chargers to bring the total to over 106,000.
The network now includes three additional charging providers, Francis Energy, Blink, and Red E, serving customers in the United States and Canada.
These providers offer integrated charger routing and straightforward payment options through the FordPass app.
Including these three providers introduces over 10,000 new chargers to the network, including more than 550 DC fast chargers.
They join the ranks of existing BlueOval Charge Network providers, such as Shell Recharge Solutions, Electrify America, EVgo, ChargePoint, FLO, EV Connect, and Electric Circuit.
Ford's BlueOval Charge Network
The BlueOval Charge Network offers Ford EV drivers access to various charging providers without needing multiple apps and memberships.
Through the FordPass app or the in-vehicle touchscreen, BOCN provides a unified payment account, negating the requirement for on-site credit card use.
After creating a BlueOval Charge Network account, owners can select, activate, and pay for BOCN charging using the FordPass "Find Chargers" feature.
Ford customers can also benefit from trip planning, routing, and charging payment options accessible through FordPass Power My Trip, available on both the FordPass app and the vehicle's infotainment screen via Charge Assist.
