Fleet Advantage announced the launch of its expanded Asset Performance Team during the International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) Solutions Conference. The team is a new component of the company’s asset management solutions, aimed at helping private fleets and foodservice distributors improve efficiency, control costs, and align operations with business goals.

The Asset Performance Team builds on Fleet Advantage’s existing resources to address current fleet challenges. It provides specialized support for organizations with private fleets, complementing internal management teams with expertise in procurement, maintenance, and lifecycle optimization.

Composed of transportation professionals with decades of industry experience, the team offers hands-on operational support and strategic guidance throughout the vehicle lifecycle—from acquisition and daily operations to off-lease and remarketing.

Technology and Lifecycle Transparency

The expanded program integrates Fleet Advantage’s OffLease Reimagined software, which offers full transparency during the off-lease and remarketing process. The technology helps streamline vehicle replacement decisions and enhances accountability at every stage.

Through this approach, fleets can better match each vehicle to its operational purpose while improving safety, reliability, and cost efficiency. The team’s support allows fleet leaders to focus on business objectives rather than the administrative and logistical challenges of managing assets.

Key Program Features

  • Order Management: The Asset Performance Team manages fleet acquisitions from specification to delivery. This includes negotiating pricing, coordinating upfitting, and overseeing delivery timelines to ensure clients receive the right vehicles at optimal cost.

  • Asset Performance Management:The team leverages Fleet Advantage’s analytics to optimize fleet utilization, maintenance, and safety. By identifying performance trends and potential risks early, fleets can make data-driven decisions that reduce downtime and improve total cost of ownership.

  • End-of-Life Vehicle Management: Fleet Advantage provides a structured process for vehicle retirement and remarketing. The team oversees inspections, documentation, and resale to maximize residual value and minimize administrative workload.

Benefits Across Fleet Operations

  • For Operations Leaders: The team helps maintain uptime and operational efficiency with data insights and on-site support when needed. Each vehicle’s performance is closely monitored to ensure reliability and cost control.

  • For Finance Departments: Fleet Advantage’s data-driven approach helps create budget stability by turning fleet management from a capital expense into a predictable, measurable asset. The team supports cost control through smarter acquisition, maintenance planning, and end-of-life management.

  • For Executives: The program helps company leaders convert fleet management into a strategic advantage. By improving asset utilization and reducing financial risk, it supports profitability and long-term business planning.

Industry Challenges and Company Outlook

“Foodservice distributors and private fleets are managing complex challenges, from supply chain disruptions to rising maintenance costs,” said Brian Holland, president and CEO of Fleet Advantage. “Our Asset Performance Team formalizes a resource we’ve always provided—expert, hands-on support backed by powerful data tools. This strategic expansion helps clients stay competitive and achieve operational excellence.”

Fleet Advantage’s Asset Performance Team is part of its broader effort to deliver end-to-end asset management solutions for private and dedicated fleets, combining data analytics, financing strategies, and lifecycle optimization.
