FCA US will invest $1.48 billion to retool its Sterling Heights Assembly Plant in Detroit, MI to build the next generation Ram 1500 after the plant ceases production of the Chrysler 200 in December.
Plans for the Warren Truck Assembly Plant, which currently builds the Ram 1500, will be announced at a later date, according to the automaker.
