Luann Dunkerley, national sales manager for truck fleet services for the CEI Group, Inc. (CEI), is the 2014 recipient of the National Private Truck Council’s Membership Development Award, the company announced. Dunkerley received the award during the council’s NPTC 2014 Annual Education Management Conference and Exhibition this week in Cincinnati. 

Dunkerley was one of six to receive the council’s Professional Leadership Awards, which “recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the National Private Truck Council [NPTC], their profession and the private trucking community.”  

The NPTC is the largest trade association representing privately owned truck fleets. Its members include such truck fleet operators as Air Products & Chemicals, ConAgra Foods, Frito-Lay, Kraft Foods, Verizon Logistics, and Walgreen’s, and a number of their fleet services suppliers. The CEI Group is a provider of truck fleet accident management and subrogation services, and is an NPTC 5-Star Member.

Dunkerley joined NPTC in 2008. In 2011, she was appointed to the NPTC Institute board of directors, and serves on the organization’s safety committee.
