Diesel Engine Upgrade Funds Available in California County

YREKA, CA – Carl Moyer Program funds are available to all public and private entities in Siskiyou County, a recent press release stated, according to the Yreka Siskiyou Daily News. The funds may be applied for directly through the Siskiyou County Air Pollution Control District (APCD). To request an application or to ask questions about the program, contact the APCD at 841-4030.
The Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Program is a grant program that funds the retrofitting or the replacement of current diesel engines and equipment. According to the release, public or private entities that operate eligible engines and/or equipment in Siskiyou County can participate by applying directly to the APCD.
Examples of eligible engines and equipment include heavy-duty on-road and off-road, stationary agricultural pumps, and heavy-duty auxiliary diesel power units.
The application deadline for these funds is June 30, by 5 p.m.
