CARMEL, IN - Sun Power Technologies, a battery powered heating and cooling equipment technologies company and Dickinson Fleet Services, an independent truck repair and body shop, announced sales, installation, and service partnership.

Sun Power Technologies Sun Spot products, particularly the Sunspot 5000, are now available for purchase, installation, and service through any Dickinson Fleet Service center across the country.

"We are delighted with this arrangement," said Roger Fox, vice president of Sun Power Technologies. "We could not ask for a better partner in this endeavor. Dickinson has really impressed us with their knowledge and efficiency in serving our customers, and theirs."

Dickinson serves corporate fleets, leasing companies, logistics, and trucking companies through strategic locations across the country. Employing more than 200 technicians, Dickinson services more than 600 fleet customers annually and continues to grow through careful alignment with industry leading component manufacturers and parts suppliers. Dickinson carries both the Sunspot 3600 and the Sunspot 5000 in stock.

The Sunspot 3600
The Sunspot 3600 delivers 3600 BTUs per hour of cooling capacity and an optional 400 watts per hour of heating capacity with the lowest current draw available in the market. The system uses dual fans, optimizing airflow and recirculation, and is available in 12, 24, 36, 48 and 72 VDC, fitting standard SAE service ports.

Sunspot 3600 is ideal for Golf Carts, Electric Vehicles, Fork Lifts, Cement Trucks, Tractors, Cranes, and in Day Cabs. It is also a great fit for material handling equipment.

The Sunspot 5000
The Sunspot 5000, a self-contained 12-Volt DC air conditioner, delivers 5,000 BTU's per hour of cooling capacity. The rugged and compact design of the system is versatile enough for almost any under-bunk retrofit application. The Sunspot 5000 draws 50 amps at 12-volt operation and weighs 67 pounds installed.

Because of the simple installation, complete circuit protection and retrofit versatility, most fleet managers and owner-operators install the system during regular service checks, minimizing downtime.
