Daimler has named Hartmut Schick as the new head of Daimler Trucks Asia where he will oversee operations for the Mitsubishi Fuso Trucks and Bus Corporation in Japan, and Daimler India Commercial Vehicles in India.
Daimler Trucks Asia is the Asian subsidiary of Daimler Trucks and Buses, Daimler said in a release. Shick will succeed Marc Llistosella, former head of Daimler Trucks Asia, who will leave the company in March 2018.
Schick has been the head of the Daimler Buses division and CEO of EvoBus GmbH since Jan. 1, 2009. Before this, he headed the global communications of the Daimler Group, according to Daimler.
