MINNEAPOLIS - Cummins Onan has launched a contest to encourage people to submit photos of their commercial vehicles that use a Cummins Onan generator. The contest, which runs from May 20 through July 20, 2011, is offering an Apple iPad 2 as the prize for the best photo submitted.
The purpose of the contest is to illustrate the many different ways businesses are using Cummins Onan generators. According to Emerson Baptista, commercial mobile marketing manager at Cummins Onan, "We know that our generators are working every day supporting gourmet food trucks, mobile dog grooming businesses, bookmobiles, aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) vehicles, to name just a few applications. We wanted to document that broad range."
To implement the contest, Cummins Onan created a special website for the Commercial Mobile Photo Contest. The site includes a form to gather information about the vehicle, its owner and purpose. Cummins Onan will select the top five entries, and then all the contestants will be able to vote to determine the winner of an Apple iPad 2.
Editor's Note: This contest has closed.
