COYLE
Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA) has announced that, effective Monday, September 30, Scott Coyle was promoted to director, service operations for its medium-duty truck business. He will replace Bill Mohr, who is retiring after 25 years with MFTA, effective Dec. 31, 2013.
Coyle started with MFTA in May 1997 as a Field Service Manager for the New York/New Jersey area. In May 2001, he was promoted to National Service Manager, where he has served with distinction for a dozen years. According to Todd Bloom, President and CEO of MFTA, “During Scott’s tenure in the Service Department, he has developed a keen sense of both the dealer perspective and MFTA’s corporate perspective. This experience, combined with his technical knowledge, make him a valuable asset to our business and will serve him well as he takes on this new role.”
“At the same time,” Bloom noted, “it is with mixed emotions that we say goodbye to Bill Mohr. He has been a consummate professional throughout his career at MFTA, and his experience, dedication, and knowledge will be sorely missed.”
Mohr began his career at MFTA as a Field Service Manager in 1988, just three years after the company’s founding. He continued as an Eastern Region Field Service Manager until June 1993 when he became MFTA’s first Manager, Fleet Service. In July 1994, Mohr was promoted once again, this time to National Service Manager, where he worked diligently to support the company’s field service staff and dealers. Seven years later, in March 2001, he was named Director, Service Operations. In January 2012, Mohr was elevated to Vice President, Service Operations.
Bloom also noted, “In replacing Bill Mohr, Scott will have big shoes to fill. In his 25 years with MFTA, Bill worked tirelessly to support MFTA, our dealers, and our customers. But I’m confident Scott will be up to the challenge.”
