NEW ALBANY, OHIO -- Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc., a supplier of fully integrated system solutions for the global commercial vehicle market, has announced that its electrical systems facility in Edgewood, Iowa, has been awarded Platinum status in accordance with Caterpillar Inc.'s Supplier Quality Excellence Process (SQEP) for process capability, quality, continuous improvement, delivery and six-sigma deployment.

Kevin R. L. Frailey, president and general manager of CVG's Electrical Systems division stated, "We are extremely proud of our Edgewood team for their efforts to earn the top rating in Caterpillar's rigorous SQEP program. This award builds on the Bronze level SQEP achievement we attained in 2009 and 2010 at our Agua Prieta facility."
