Comdata’s powerful FleetAdvance tool has been named as a 2014 Best Practice Award Winner from The Data Warehousing Institute (TDWI), a premier provider of in-depth, high-quality education and research in the business intelligence and data warehousing industry.
FleetAdvance, Comdata’s real-time transaction scoring platform available to the company’s fleet card customers, won in TDWI’s Right-Time Business Intelligence and Analytics category. FleetAdvance, introduced to the market in May 2013, captures card transaction data as the card is swiped and scores the transaction against preset criteria such as price or location. This data is compiled and shared back to the fleet in real time to enable smarter fuel purchasing decisions.
With its robust dashboards, scoreboards and route-planning features, FleetAdvance provides powerful analytics tools to drive actionable cost saving opportunities for over-the-road and commercial fleets. Comdata’s Executive Vice President, Randy Morgan, expressed his excitement over receiving the prestigious award.
“Comdata is honored for our FleetAdvance product to be recognized by an organization like TDWI. FleetAdvance has helped redefine what a successful fuel transaction looks like and allowed Comdata to demonstrate our commitment to innovation within the fleet industry,” Morgan said.
To help bring its vision of identifying a successful fuel transaction to life, Comdata partnered with Credera, a management and technology consulting firm. Comdata leveraged Credera’s experience in business intelligence to make the FleetAdvance product a reality.
TDWI’s Best Practices Awards honors companies that demonstrate excellence in developing, deploying and maintaining business intelligence and data warehousing applications. Winners were selected based on business impact, maturity, innovation and relevance.
