Chicago Mayor Daley to Speak at Green Fleet Conference
TORRANCE, CA - Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley will be a featured speaker at the Green Fleet Conference, scheduled Oct. 19-20 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
TORRANCE, CA - Bobit Business Media (BBM) is pleased to announce Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley will be a featured speaker at the Green Fleet Conference, scheduled Oct. 19-20 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
Mayor Daley (pictured right) will provide the conference Day 2 opening presentation, 8:30-9 a.m., Oct. 20. His address, "Implementing Chicago's Climate Action Plan to Reduce Transportation's Carbon Footprint," will draw upon the city's comprehensive "roadmap" to achieve an 80-percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from 1990 levels by 2050.
"We're delighted Mayor Daley will participate in the Green Fleet Conference program. As the leader of Chicago's pioneering environmental efforts, his comments will provide a valuable confirmation of the importance of the fleet industry's green future," said Mike Antich, conference chair and associate publisher of Automotive Fleet magazine.
