IRVINE, CA – Bestop Inc., located in Broomfield, Colo., is now a national distributor of the full line of AMP Research truck accessory products. In addition to the AMP Research Power Step and BedStep, Bestop has now added the AMP Research Bed X-Tender to their Jeep and truck products mix. The AMP Research Bed X-Tender, originally designed to keep motorcycles and associated gear in the truck bed and off the highway, is now found on more than 2.5 million domestic and import pickup trucks.
Made from high strength aluminum, the Bed X-Tender installs in minutes, effectively turning a short bed into a long bed by adding 18 inches with the tailgate open. With a durable black powder coat finish, the Bed X-Tender is durable and simple to operate.
The AMP Research BedStep, introduced a year ago, is the first rear-mounted bumper step that works with the tailgate open or closed. Developed with a spring-loaded cam that easily deploys with one nudge of your foot, it supports up to 300 lbs. When not in use, it stows rattle free under the bumper, leaving the trailer hitch free for towing, or for use with hitch-mounted accessories.
Power-deploying AMP Research Power Step running boards are available for most late-model trucks, including the latest generation Tundra. Rated for loads up to 600 lbs., the AMP Power Step employs a heavy-duty drive system and integrated anti-pinch technology. All three AMP Research truck products are made in the USA and are backed by a three-year limited warranty.
