Auto Truck Group, a leader in the upfitting industry specializing in the design, construction and installation of truck equipment, is pleased to announce that Guy Chollet, Engineering Manager for Auto Truck, will present “Taking Advantage of Multiplexing” together with Bryan Howard, Vocational Sales Manager for Freightliner Trucks on March 7 from 9:30 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. as part of The Work Truck Show in Indianapolis.
Multiplexing is rapidly becoming the industry norm for medium- and heavy-duty trucks. The capabilities of these systems can significantly increase an upfitter’s ability to integrate truck-mounted bodies and equipment with the chassis, which in turn can provide new abilities not previously available. Additionally, in many cases these systems can also lower upfitting costs by reducing the need for aftermarket chassis interface systems and by simplifying chassis and equipment wiring requirements. These capabilities can often be further enhanced through the proper ordering of OEM-provided upfitter integration options. This session will give attendees an overview of multiplex wiring systems and demonstrate how they can be integrated into the upfitting process.
Auto Truck is one of the leading work truck upfitters in North America with nine service centers throughout the United States and Canada, offering ship-through services with five top OEM manufacturers. For additional information, please visit www.AutoTruck.com.
