ARI, a global fleet services provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets, announced the introduction of a faster, more efficient ARI insights web-based and mobile fleet management system.
The ARI insights system collects and integrates critical vehicle and driver data from around the world and provides it to fleet clients. A new, intuitive user interface, along with a redesigned, easier-to-use navigation tool, enhances the user experience and reduces overall training time, according to the company. Other improvements include streamlined processes, a more meaningful menu structure, and additional customizable fields to match terms commonly used by fleet managers. A dedicated team of ARI solution architects worked closely with customers to understand their business needs and incorporate their required solutions to these system enhancements.
In addition to data integration, the ARI insights system alerts fleet managers to actual or potential issues, offers tools for avoiding problems, and allows for improved communication with drivers to control costs and ensure compliance. The comprehensive reporting capabilities available through ARI insights help customers evaluate total spend before making key decisions, which leads to lower total cost of ownership, according to ARI.
In 2012, ARI announced its partnership with SAP in an effort to significantly reduce processing time and substantially broaden the scope of fleet reporting. ARI was one of the first companies in the world to use the SAP HANA platform. This in-memory technology works behind the scenes with a variety of client interfaces – including ARI insights – to provide users unmatched processing speed, according to the company.
