The family owned and operated Tilghman Oil, Inc. will begin blending diesel fuel additive, Monster Diesel, into its oil and fuel products.  The addition of Monster Diesel will effectively decrease harmful emissions and corrosion, while increasing Cetane Number, as well as engine and system efficiency. This will benefit commercial trucking, farming, marine and residential heating customers.

Monster Diesel is a crude oil free diesel fuel additive which reduces emissions and increases mileage per gallon by as much as 15 percent when added to regular diesel fuel.  The result: lessened environmental impact and cost of operating diesel powered vehicles, boats, and machinery.  Monster Diesel effectively offers users a premium grade of diesel in a concentrate so powerful, it is portable. A quart of Monster Diesel, when added to an 18-wheelers' two tanks of regular diesel, essentially creates a premium grade fuel.

Salisbury, Md.-based Tilghman Oil, Inc. is a family owned business that has been operating in Maryland since 1952. The company serves the area's residential heating needs as well as commercial fleets and marinas with quality diesel fuel.

"Monster Diesel gives Tilghman Oil the ability to offer a true premium grade diesel fuel to our customers," says Pat Tilghman, president of Tilghman Oil, Inc. "But perhaps just as important, it helps produce a greener, more environmentally friendly fuel option to our customers. By combining these two benefits, we not only differentiate ourselves from competitors, but we also give our customers the product they demand. Monster Diesel is not only a better product for your engine but for the environment as well, and that's something we value."

"We are privileged to be working with such a respected and long standing family owned and operated business as Tilghman Oil," says Christina M. Angel, National Sales Manager of Alkane, Inc. "Tilghman has always had a reputation of putting the needs of the customer first. By blending with Monster Diesel, they continue that tradition. We share their focus and are dedicated to making environmentally friendly, premium diesel widely available to customers."
