ALK Technologies Announces PC*MILER|Tolls Quarterly Data Update
PRINCETON, NJ - To ensure that its customers have the latest toll data available for calculating toll costs, ALK Technologies releases an updated version of its PC*MILER|Tolls database on a quarterly basis.
PRINCETON, NJ - To ensure that its customers have the latest toll data available for calculating toll costs, ALK Technologies releases an updated version of its PC*MILER|Tolls database on a quarterly basis.
Updated toll data is now available for Version 25 of PC*MILER, PC*MILER Web Services and PC*MILER|Web.
The current data update incorporates toll rate increases in 11 jurisdictions, occurring on 30 toll roads and bridges. Examples of rate increases include:
New Jersey: New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway
New York: Mid-Hudson Bridge
Ohio: Ohio Turnpike
Pennsylvania: Pennsylvania Turnpike, PA 66 and PA Turnpike I 376
PC*MILER|Tolls calculates truck-specific toll costs in the U.S. and Canada based on a vehicle's weight, axle count, vehicle type, trailer count, transaction type, and time of day travel. When truck routing is generated in PC*MILER, truck-specific toll costs are added to a route's overall cost calculations.
PC*MILER|Tolls enables transportation professionals to generate toll cost and mileage comparison reports in either U.S. or Canadian dollars, and includes access to 31 discount programs throughout the U.S. and Canada.
