DETROIT - Fleet industry professionals gathered in "Motor City" for the 2010 NAFA Fleet Management Association Institute & Expo (I&E) April 24-27 at the Cobo Center in Detroit.
Among the highlights of the event were keynote speeches from each of the Detroit Three; a number of educational workshops; introduction of the latest Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) graduates; award presentation of Automotive Fleet's Professional Fleet Manager of the Year (Mike Sims, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints), Fleet Financials' Fleet Executive of the Year (Mike Lahr, LKQ Corp.), and Government Fleet's Public Sector Fleet Manager of the Year (John Alley, City of San Diego); and NAFA Award winners.
