Bestpass, a company that provides a comprehensive payment platform with a focus on toll management for commercial fleets, recently hired Michael Sebast as vice president of engineering.
As vice president of engineering, Sebast will be in charge of all software development efforts at Bestpass, managing several teams that work on maintaining and creating new features for the company’s toll management service.
Sebast's new position has a direct impact on fleets, helping expand coverage through direct integrations with tolling authorities and improving data organization and analytics to help fleets make more strategic decisions with respect to their toll usage.
A key element to the Bestpass service is its customer web portal, which allows fleets to consolidate and see all toll data as well as manage fleet information and overall toll operations. The portal is a critical area for our software development team and falls under the purview of the VP of engineering.
Sebast brings more than 15 years of proven technical business leadership and software development experience to Bestpass, where he manages the company's development teams. Previously, he was vice president, technology, at IEEE GlobalSpec, and he has also served as director, product development and delivery, for IHS Markit.
