Truckers Against Trafficking is a non-profit organization that works with law enforcement agencies and trucking companies to train drivers to recognize and report signs of human trafficking. The TAT Industry Training Program focuses on training industry participants about the realities of domestic sex trafficking and how the trucking industry can combat it through partnerships with truck driver training schools, carriers, the truckstop industry, manufacturers, and state and national trucking associations.
“TAT training has resulted in a significant increase of reports of possible trafficking from truck drivers, which has resulted in victim recoveries and the arrest of perpetrators,” said Norm Ellis, president of Eroad. “We are proud to continue our sponsorship of Truckers Against Trafficking and its highly successful effort to train a mobile army of transportation professionals to assist law enforcement in the recognition and reporting of human trafficking.”
