Chrysler Begins Ram ProMaster Van Production

Chrysler’s Ram Truck division celebrated the official start of production of its all-new 2014 Ram ProMaster van at the company’s Saltillo Van Assembly Plant in Coahuilla, Mexico. This full-size commercial van is the automaker’s new Ram Commercial division’s newest addition to its lineup.
The ProMaster will offer two roof heights, three wheelbases, and four body lengths, plus a cutaway model, for a total of 13 different configurations. Under the hood, the vehicle offers two engine and transmission choices, including a four-cylinder 3.0L EcoDiesel engine and a 3.6L Pentastar V-6.
