Tow4Tech, a SaaS platform focused on modernizing towing for commercial fleets, is expanding its partnership with Ryder System, Inc. to bring real-time roadside dispatch technology across Ryder’s Florida operations.

Following a successful pilot, the statewide rollout is aimed at reducing vehicle downtime, speeding up roadside assistance, and improving overall service visibility. Ryder, which manages more than 250,000 assets across North America, expects the expansion to deliver major efficiency gains throughout Florida.

Boosting Fleet Uptime and Service Transparency

“The first phase of our relationship has shown encouraging results toward our goal of reducing downtime and improving the service experience for our customers when they have a roadside event,” said Jenn Dixon, Vice President of Maintenance Technology at Ryder. “Tow4Tech brings speed, transparency, and automation to a process that has historically lacked all three.”

Tow4Tech’s platform connects fleet managers and service centers with top-performing towing and roadside providers using real-time geolocation, automated dispatching, and job tracking. The system helps streamline a process that’s often fragmented and time-consuming.

Growth, Funding, and a Look Ahead

The expansion follows Tow4Tech’s recently closed $1.5 million pre-seed funding round led by BrightCap Ventures, bringing total investment to $3.3 million. The funding will fuel development of the platform, expansion of its heavy-duty provider network, and growth of its engineering team.

“We are proud to expand our business with Ryder, an industry pioneer that continues to embrace tech-driven innovation,” said Craig Schneider, CEO and Co-Founder of Tow4Tech. “Together, we’re defining a roadmap for smarter, faster, and more accountable roadside solutions.”

The companies will continue to evaluate broader rollout opportunities based on ongoing performance data and operational results.
