In the next Work Truck Recall Roundup, we have recalls on vehicles from Volvo Trucks North America, Lion Electric Company, and Mack Trucks.
Lion recalled the following vehicles: 2021-2023 Lion6 and Lion8. The steering could lose control from the possible incompatible miter gear box in the steering system with other steering system components. The miter box will be replaced for free.
Volvo Trucks has recalled certain 2019-2023 VNRE battery electric trucks’ electrical systems. The cabin heater relay may fail, causing the coolant heater to overheat. As a solution, the Hybrid Powertrain Control Unit and Instrument Cluster software need to be updated. And relays will be replaced.
Mack has recalled certain 2019-2023 LRBE battery electric trucks. The cabin heater relay may fail, causing the coolant heater to overheat. The Hybrid Powertrain Control Unit and Instrument Cluster software will be updated, and install replacement relays, free of charge.
