For over 50 years, Transervice Logistics Inc. has delivered early holiday presents to their employees’ children and grandchildren, aged newborn to 13, at their facilities across North America.

The company then doubles that amount of presents to donate to The Salvation Army in the metro New York area.

“Our corporate office team feels the true holiday spirit when they pitch in to wrap the hundreds of presents we donate each year to our local New York Salvation Army,” said Sean Schnipper, director of marketing for Transervice. “This is a beloved tradition that caps off a year of giving to worthy causes in our community.”

Holiday Spirit

Other companies are finding themselves in the holiday spirit.

Amazon released a new feature that allowed customers to directly thank their drivers for making their deliveries by saying "Alexa, thank my driver." The campaign began on Dec. 7 and any time a customer said “Alexa, thank my driver,” the driver who delivered their most recent package was notified of their appreciation.

Kenworth kicked off its Christmas festivities early on with the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree Tour.

It was learned in September a Kenworth T680 Next Generation will transport the 2022 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree from the National Forests in North Carolina to Washington, D.C., with stops en route to a full slate of community celebrations. This year’s tour began on Nov. 2 from the Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina. The tour's theme was “From the Mountains to the Sea.”

Husband-and-wife driver team Ed Kingdon, Jr. and Deb Kingdon had the opportunity to transport the 2022 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree from the Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina to Washington, D.C.

Goodyear joined in on the action by partnering with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve for the 12th consecutive year in support of the Marines Toys for Tots Foundation at the company’s airship bases in California, Florida, and Ohio.

Each event provided the public with an opportunity to donate to Toys for Tots while enjoying an up-close and personal view of the Goodyear Blimp.
