Renewable Sources as Fuel

NGVAmerica remains strong in its quest to have 80% of natural gas vehicle on-road motor fuel in the United States will derive from renewable sources by 2030.

In October, the company announced that California fleets with bio-CNG achieved carbon negativity last calendar year for the second straight year. According to the California Air Resources Board, 98% of all on-road fuel used in natural gas vehicles was renewable natural gas in 2021.
