Red Dot Corporation, a mobile HVAC systems and parts maker for heavy-duty commercial and military vehicles, announced it is purchasing a manufacturing and distribution center in Memphis, Tennessee, as part of its strategy to expand operations in the southeastern U.S.
The acquisition will also improve Red Dot’s ability to serve OE and aftermarket customers throughout the Midwest and East Coast.

Red Dot said it plans to relocate current team members in Memphis, and add new jobs in engineering, manufacturing, and operations.
“Our existing Memphis team has been amazing over the last 18 months,” said John Kaestle, Red Dot CEO. “We have had an extreme increase in demand, and our team has been integral in fulfilling customer orders. This new location will allow us to build on the talented team already in place, while dedicating resources to our aftermarket distribution.”
Red Dot will also establish a facility to support fulfillment to aftermarket partners. The company has a network of 200 distributors that provide aftermarket parts and service to heavy-equipment fleets throughout the U.S.
Red Dot will relocate its existing workforce and go to full operations at its new facilities in 2022 following renovations.
