Rolling Strong, a provider of health and wellness programs for owner-operators, transportation companies, and their drivers and employees, announced the Accelerate Your Health Wellness Competition, which is sponsored by Women In Trucking Association. The wellness competition is open to anyone and is based on points earned in the Rolling Strong app.
Fitbit, Drivewyze Inc., and AllTrails, along with Rolling Strong, will be providing prizes for the event that kicks off July 15th and runs through September 1.
Points are accumulated by participating in weekly Rolling Strong coaching and HIGI health assessments as well as logging hydration, sleep, nutrition, and fitness activities – all on the Rolling Strong fitness app. The highest points earners during the competition win the awards.
To participate, contestants need to have the Rolling Strong app, which is available through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Non Rolling Strong Members will pay $3.99 a month, which can be cancelled at any time.
“We are excited to see how these wellness challenges encourage participants to be more mindful of the five key components of fitness, nutrition, sleep, hydration and coach interactions that the Rolling Strong program offers,” said Stephen Kane, president of Rolling Strong. “By the end of a competition, new habits will form and people will win prizes. Everybody wins! It’s fun, interactive and very impactful. We are grateful that Women In Trucking is helping pioneer gamified wellness in the trucking industry. We are also very happy to see such great industry leaders as Fitbit, AllTrails and Drivewyze show their support with their generous sponsorship.”

The Rolling Strong platform allows non-wearable users to compete in the Women In Trucking challenge by manually entering information (wearable users receive double points) as well as by receiving points for completing health checks with a coach. The top 10 non-wearable earners from the competition will be entered into a drawing for their choice of a new Fitbit wearable and a WIT $50 Amazon Gift Card.
The Rolling Strong health and wellness mobile app for IOS and Android devices offers exercise programs and nutrition and personal health guidance, including the ability to connect with a wellness coach. Drivers can also earn points and rewards for logging sleep, exercising, and meeting daily calorie goals. Rolling Strong Wellness Competitions were created as part of the wellness platform to encourage professional drivers, carriers and the industry to participate in wellness challenges and be more mindful of the five key components (fitness, nutrition, sleep, hydration, and coach interactions) the program offers. The sponsored wellness challenges bring people from across the trucking industry together in a friendly, but focused and competitive atmosphere to improve overall wellness and fitness.
