Miller Electric Mfg. LLC has announced that preorders are now open for the new HDI 265 and HDI 325 Air Pak models. Shipping is scheduled to begin in mid-Q2 2025. These hydraulically driven, all-in-one machines are Miller’s first solutions of their kind built specifically for the work truck industry.
Designed to eliminate the need for a separate rotary-screw compressor and engine-driven welder, the HDI Air Pak series helps increase payload and reduce equipment footprint. According to Miller, the units can save up to 400 pounds and cut the equipment footprint by up to 54% compared to pairing a traditional welder and compressor.

Key features of the HDI Air Pak models include:
Onboard Compressed Air: Rotary-screw compressors provide 40 or 60 cfm at 100% duty cycle.
Battery Charging and Crank Assist: Offers up to 150 amps of DC current for charging 12- and 24-volt batteries, and up to 300 amps for crank assist.
Auxiliary Power: A 7,000-watt generator powers tools, lights, and other jobsite needs.
Integrated Multiprocess Welding: Delivers 265 or 325 amps at 100% duty cycle, with support for DC stick, MIG, aluminum MIG, flux-cored, DC TIG, and air carbon arc welding.
Auto-Set Technology: Provides preset weld parameters to simplify setup.
Modular Remote Panels: Allow for flexible installation and reduce risks on the jobsite.
Digital User Interface: A single panel controls the air compressor, battery functions, and welding settings.
Data Visibility: Preventative maintenance alerts and CAN bus connectivity support fleet management.
Reduced Noise Levels: Designed to help minimize jobsite noise and fatigue.
The HDI Air Pak series from Miller uses common platform parts and service protocols across both models and is intended to streamline technician training and operation.
