Miller Introduces the All-New HDI Air Pak Series

During NTEA’s Work Truck Week 2025, Miller Electric Mfg. debuted its first hydraulically driven all-in-one machines for work trucks. The HDI 265 Air Pak and HDI 325 Air Pak are part of the HDI Air Pak series.

In the second quarter of 2025, Miller Electric Mfg. will launch its first hydraulically driven all-in-one machines that are lighter, more compact, and provide more payload capacity while delivering uncompromised performance. Details were provided during a press announcement this week during NTEA’s Work Truck Week 2025.

The HDI 265 Air Pak and HDI 325 Air Pak are part of the HDI Air Pak series. They are the company’s first hydraulically driven all-in-one unit engineered for the work truck industry. They eliminate the need for a standalone rotary-screw compressor and engine-driven welder on a work truck.

The HDI Air Pak maximizes truck space and increases payload capacity, saving up to 400 pounds and reducing the equipment footprint by 54% compared to using an engine-driven welder and a separate compressor.

Each HDI Air Pak model is integrated into the work truck chassis and provides an array of features and benefits.

Onboard Compressed Air

The HDI Air Pak rotary-screw compressor produces 40 or 60 cfm of air at 100% duty cycle.

Battery Charge/Crank Assist

It produces up to 150 amps of DC current to quickly charge 12- and 24-volt batteries. Operators can crank assist weak batteries with up to 300 amps of power.

Auxiliary Power for Tools, Lights

The 7,000-watt generator can handle jobsite electrical needs to power tools, lights, and more.

Integrated Multiprocess Welding

Technicians are prepared for any welding job they encounter in the field with 265 or 325 amps of output at 100% duty cycle and industry-leading weld quality, including:

DC stick (SMAW)
MIG (GMAW)
Aluminum MIG (GMAW)
Flux-cored (FCAW)
DC TIG (GTAW)
Air carbon arc (CAC-A)

Auto-Set technology offers preset weld settings, making weld parameter setup fast, easy, and accurate for operators of all skill levels.

Modular Remote Panels

Convenient remote panels provide outputs for battery charge, auxiliary power, and welding can be installed to reduce the risk of slips, trips, or falls and help get the job done faster.

Simple setup & User Interface

A single, easy-to-use digital user interface for air compressor, battery charge/crank assist, and weld parameter settings saves time and helps guarantee accuracy.
