Heavy-duty vehicle lift manufacturer Stertil-Koni reported that vehicle maintenance shops across North America seeking even more lifting power from the Stertil-Koni Skylift – a vertical-rise platform lift with a capacity up to 156,000 pounds – are increasingly turning to Jacking Beams for the solution.
The purpose-built, air-driven hydraulic accessories for Skylift utilize twin lifting pistons with integrated mechanical locks to deliver wheels-free access for tire and break repairs on virtually any vehicle.
Both pistons on the Jacking Beam can be operated independently, according to the company, ideal for lifting a single wheel or both wheels in tandem. For added convenience and safety, Stertil-Koni Jacking Beams include remote control operation, hold-to-run controls, overload protection, and each piston is equipped with a reliable gravity-engaged mechanical locking system, the release stated.
The Jacking Beams also feature a control panel at an optimally ergonomic working height. Lifting capacities, depending on model, range from 17,600 pounds to 44,000 pounds.
